MHS marketing guru, Daniel Eosco (me), gave an online web marketing seminar recently and spoke about increasing buyer confidence via personalization of websites. More specifically making a website more personalized by adding photos of owners, staff, and people using or displaying the products. My theory is that a site would gain greater buyer confidence with a photo of you, the owner, or your staff on the home page with the product your selling. When a potential buyer can make a personal connection with the people behind a product it gives them greater buyer confidence and the more likely to click the BUY Button.
