It displays historical data for just about anything you could imagine; where the traffic is coming from, which pages are getting the most traffic, peak traffic hours, duration of visits, etc. 

The following is an example of a monthly statistics chart generated by AWStats. The data is presented in a graphical, easy to understand format:

To access AWStats for your site:

1. Log into your cPanel by going to www.yourwebsite.com/cpanel

2. Enter your username and password. If you don’t know your cPanel login details, click here to have your account information sent.

3. Click the AWStats icon located in the Logs section about half way down the page. 

4. Begin exploring your site’s stats.

There is a lot that AWStats offers and we encourage every website owner to check out what is available. You may not find something immediately useful, but knowing where the data can be found could prove useful in the future.
