Two of us (Benjamin and Daniel) just returned from HostingCon 2007 and brought back a wealth of knowledge to share. HostingCon 2007 was held at the Navy Pier Convention Center in Chicago this year, lasted 3 days, included 36 seminars, 3 keynotes, plus a tradeshow with over 100 vendors of the web hosting industry. One of the greatest finds was a new spam blocking provider that will help block spam on our dedicated servers. We also came back with some new search engine optimization technology to be used with our SEO Packages. Solidification of our partnerships continued with Dell, RedHat, cPanel, Google, and several other vendors we use to provide our users the best web hosting experience.

cPanel recently released v11 and it was one the great products we were learning more about at the show. We will be adding new features to everyone’s cPanel for Search Engine Optimization, website editing tools and more.

We also have a new domain name suggestion tool coming that will help all of us find domain names related to our business and products.

This is the third HostingCon we have attended and each year we come back with great news and products to share with our customers. We look forward to implementing this years finds over the next couple of months. Look out for more details on these product releases.
