Backup & Disaster Recovery Plan Highest business continuity and disaster recovery practices.
Equipment and Data Storage Protection and Redundancy:
- Clustered Virtual Environment, employing N+1 techniques with no single points of failure
- Tolerant to Failure of Physical servers, network, SAN access, and storage
- SAN environment is highly fault tolerant all Storage is RAID 5 or better
- Automatic same drive backups via cPanel, daily and weekly Backups
- Shared servers are replicated nightly to a 12 TB NAS using RAID 6 technology
- 8 Copies/Backups of all shared hosting client data
- Dedicated server client’s backup scheme may vary according to client needs
- 30 Minute Backup 110V battery power failover
- Dual diesel generators that can over power the entire datacenter with automatic failover
- Nightly, Weekly or Monthly OFF network backups provided upon request
Datacenter and Connectivity Structure:
- Datacenter is staffed 24/7/365 with Double Door Mantrap Security Entrance

- Datacenter is protected with a 10C Inergen Fire Suppression System
- Datacenter is protected with dual backup cooling systems to maintain a constant temperature of 65F, cooled raised flooring and racks
- Datacenter is located in Brunswick, Maine outside of a flood zone w/16″ reinforced concrete foundation
- Datacenter is connected with multiple failover data providers for 100% connectivity to the internet via: (1) ATT, (2) Qwest, (3) GWI, (4) Fairpoint
4 Point Disaster Recovery Plan:
- HAVEN is resistant to drive failure
- In the event of a failed server, virtual machines will automatically load on backup systems, all systems have 4 hour onsite repair contracts for replacement
- In the event of power failure there is 30 min of battery power, backed up by two diesel generators with 72 hours of onsite fuel
- In the event of a carrier failure our main switch automatically fails over to one of 4 providers we currently carry: (1) ATT, (2) Qwest, (3) GWI, (4) Fairpoint
